How it works
The same 5 steps whether you are running 1 site or 12, and you can stop at any of them.
-
1. Set each site up once
Connect the site, then write its profile: tone of voice, audience, brand colours, image style, default author, and the closing paragraph you want on every article. A new site's profile can be copied from a sister site and edited, so the second one takes minutes.
-
2. Plan the month
Put articles on one calendar across every site, or let the topic tools propose them: it looks at what sister sites have published, finds the gaps in your topic clusters, and can pull competitor search terms into the brief before anything is written.
-
3. Generate
A long article is written section by section in the background, so it finishes reliably instead of timing out halfway. It comes back with an excerpt, a search description, tags, a hero image, alt text, and in-body pictures prompted from the sections they sit next to.
-
4. Review and approve
Read the draft, edit anything, and score it against the pages already ranking for your keyword. If the client signs off, they get a link that opens one article on a screen with nothing else on it, and no account to create.
-
5. Publish and post
Push it to the site as a draft or take it live, then send the social copy. A static site gets its commit checked a few minutes later to confirm the build actually caught up, because a green commit and a live page are not the same thing.
What automation is allowed to do
Turn the calendar on for a site and due articles generate themselves and arrive as drafts for review. That is the ceiling. Nothing publishes live unattended, and each plan runs on its own clock, so a daily run fires at 9 in the morning where the client actually is.
Pause a site for a month and resuming it will not dump the backlog on you. Anything more than a week overdue waits until you deliberately reschedule it.
See it running on real sites
A walkthrough takes about half an hour and uses your sites, not a demo account.
